The Open House party held on March 8, 2017 celebrated the official re-opening of the London Heritage Farmhouse after a temporary closure for the kitchen renovation. Inspired by Victorian design, the new kitchen will continue to serve London Heritage Farm Society’s own London Lady Tea, scones and other goodies in our Tea Room. After a brief re-opening ceremony addressed by Richmond City Mayor Brodie and LHFS’s President Livingston, members and guests enjoyed the tea and pastries served by our volunteers from the newly renovated kitchen. Many of them took the opportunity to check out the new kitchen and exchange thoughts on the design.
With the kitchen renovation now completed, the Museum, Tea Room and Gift Shop will resume their regular hours of operation and open every Saturday and Sunday from 12 to 5 pm starting from March 11, 2017.
