February 1, 2014 is the first day the London Farmhouse, Tea Room and Gift Shop re-open to public after the month-long winter break. It is also the second day of the Chinese New Year. To join the celebration, the Farmhouse and Tea Room are decorated with big red lanterns and colorful papercuttings. Come along with family and friends for a Chinese New Year Tea in the Tea Room on February 1 and 2 between 12 noon to 5 pm, and as a Chinese tradition, kids will receive a special “laisee” (red packet of good fortune).
